Are you wondering why Greenlee Smythe is suddenly the topic of some Pine Valley residents, namely Ryan, Zach, and Kendall? It started when Ryan received champagne flute set from Greenlee. But isn’t Greenlee dead? Umm. well that’s debatable but all fingers point to NO, Greenlee isn’t dead.

See, when they found a body which Kendall and Ryan identified, they never actually looked at the body. The idiots Ryan and Kendall said they don’t want to remember Greenlee as a corpse. Instead, they assumed it was her because of the engagement ring that was taken from the body. Greenlee’s ex-husband for like 2 months (?) was the one who lifted the blanket off and saw the body. He never said if it was Greenlee though.

Have you been missing Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, All My Children) lately? Well, cheer up because Rebecca Budig is going to appear as Holly on the CBS sitcom HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. The character Holly is supposedly  Ted’s new girlfriend.

Air date is slated to be later this Spring, one of the season’s final episodes but no specific dates have been given.

Before Rebecca Budig arrived in Pine Valley (AMC) as Greenlee Smythe, a character created to make Erica Kane a living hell (woohooo), she was actually Michelle Bauer from CBS’ Guiding Light. Rebecca was one of the few reasons why I was watching that Soaps. I have been a fan for a long time which is why I was so happy when I heard she was going back to Daytime except in ABC.

Anyhoo, the Michelle Bauer character went through 2 facelifts when Rebecca left GL. Bethany Joie Lenz (One Tree Hill) and Nancy St Alban did wonderful in their own versions. Each actresses made me root for the Danny and Michelle love story. When Danny and Michelle left Springfield to help Michelle’s Dad in his medical mission in South Africa (??), I slowly got turned off in watching GL. Especially when the “kissing-cousins” storyline became the focal point of the show. Thank goodness Laura Wright, who used to play Cassie (Reva’s sister), showed up in General Hospital as Carly Corinthos. My life was complete again.

Phillip Spaulding has been brought back to the Springfield canvas again. Soap Central reports that GL is looking for someone to bring back Michelle Bauer back. Nancy St. Alban is not coming back to reprise the role. Well, not that we know of yet.

Here’s my question, is Rebecca Budig possibly returning to Guiding Light to portray Michelle Bauer again? I would love it if she does. I might start watching Guiding Light again. As of right now, no one has been officially named for the role but Michelle Bauer will be back in Springfield by April. I’d probably tune in just to see if whoever gets the job is fit for one of my favorite characters on Daytime :).

SoapNet is going to be in New York Fashion covering all the happenings from the fashion runways. Gosh I wish I’m there. Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, AMC), the ever so stylish chick that she is will be doing to hosting duties for SoapNet. Backstage interviews, show wrap-ups, street style and more. If you’re into fashion and wish you could be in NY right about now but couldn’t, let SoapNet be your one stop shop, I mean guide to all thing fashionable for Spring 2009.

I actually just wanted a solo picture of Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, AMC) during the 35th Daytime Emmy’s but I couldn’t find one that I could use legally so I’ll settle for this one :). Not everyone liked Rebecca Budig’s red pleated strapless frock with pink stitching accessorized with a huge pink rose brogue in a sash belt. I do. I thought it was fun, and trendy like Rebecca Herbst’s strapless bubble dress. The huge pink rose fits Rebecca’s playful approach in fashion. What I really like about this dress besides the pink stitching and pleating, is the fact that Rebecca played around with combining red with pink. You don’t see that often. Red is usually always mixed with either white or black. Pink with black on the other hand is the classic color combo in fashion. So I give her props for actually going for it. I saw her gold stilettos from the SoapNet’s shoecam and it’s sexy as hell.

Speaking of color combos, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake, AMC) nixed the traditional all-black suit or tuxedo and decided to wear a white blazer over white button shirt, bow-tie and black pants. I’m not much sold on the look coz I think it’s all over the place but hey, that’s Ricky. He’s got such a rebel in him. Everyone wore traditional suits/tuxedos, respectively. Ricky went for ALL of them..LOL. That’s our Ricky!!!

Sarah Brown (Claudia, GH) opted for a black cocktail dress to match her dark hair kinda like her Claudia Zacchara character.

Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, AMC) surprised me with this mod birds print top and black denim jeans outfit. She stepped away from her usual cocktail dress ensembles. Rebecca always looks great. I love her pale pink metallic peep-toe pumps as well.

Claire Coffee playfully paired an orange belt with her black cocktail dress and a subtle color of orange pumps. I’m very impressed.

That’s not Rebecca Budig (Greenlee Smythe) in the picture. That’s Gina Tognoni, ex-Kelly Cramer from OLTL, now Dinah Marler from Guiding Light which is on CBS network. C’mon Emmy’s organizers, Gina won last year when she thanked everyone and their Mamas, can’t you remember her face? Don’t you guys watch your Soaps? Hmmm, that says a lot about the nominating committee huh? They better fix that mistake before tomorrow’s show.

Our All My Children Fashionista Rebecca Budig (Greenlee Smythe) was at the Bravo First A-List Awards last night held at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Isn’t she gorgeous with her mini-dress. I love her silver stilettos.
