Carlotta Vega, Mother of Cristian Vega and Antonio Vega, played by Patricia Mauceri on One Life To Live has been recasted. The reason that’s being released is that Patricia apparently spoke out about her character Carlotta’s reaction to the upcoming gay storyline. Carlotta has a small participation in the storyline and she is supposedly supportive of the gay people. 2 rumors are coming out. though.

First  rumor is that Patricia feels Carlotta’s acceptance is compromising  her own personal beliefs.

Second rumor is that Patricia felt that her character wouldn’t have reacted that way so easily. Understandably since she has played the character for 14 years. I think she knows how Carlotta’s mind works. Long time viewers should know that Carlotta Vega is probably the only conservative character in Llanview.

Because of this issue, Carlotta has been recasted. Saundra Santiago who actually played Isobello Santi in 2004 is returning to Llanview as another character, as Carlotta Vega.

There’s also another rumor that the show sort of forced Patricia to leave the show by imposing the gay storyline on her. Patricia has apparently been unhappy with how her story has been written out in the last couple of years. To add insult, the Vega’s diner burned down and became “Bon Jour Cafe”. Rumor has it that including Carlotta in the gay storyline is the story that will finally push Patricia’s button which allegedly is what the show wanted. OI VEY!

Starr and Cole (One Life To Live) are teen parents. Let’s not dismiss al their rich parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents that will be helping them along the way. I know it was a sweet and romantic way for Cole to show how much he loves the mother of his daughter by asking to marry her before he serves 2 years in jail but is it a smart thing to do?

They are both so young for this another step in their lives. But then again, they already have a child, with like a said, a rich, and huge support system so why not get married, right?

Marty made sense when she talked to Cole today. Starr is 17, she’ll change while Cole is in jail. As he will himself. Starr will go to college, meet new circle of friends, and experience life in the process. I don’t think we have any choice though. Carlivatti has written a teen marriage storyling judging from the short promo they’ve shown unless it’s just a tease and something happens in the end.

What do you think? Is it a good idea for Cole and Starr to get married? With the rate these two are going, they’ll surpass the divorce and child-birth rates in Llanview by the time they’re 40, heh.

If you are a perceptive One Life To Live viewer then you have an inkling of a gay storyline coming out of the woodwork, no pun intended. It is slowly being introduced to use. You really have to keep your eyes and ears open to see it. OLTL is calling it a “journey”. The people involved haven’t admitted their sexuality. Who are the people in this storyline?

Officer Oliver Fish and Lab Technician Kyle Lewis. These two were college buddies and fraternity brothers. They did more than attend classes and keg parties. They did a little bit of experimentation on the side. You could’ve have seen it the first time they met each other again in Llanview a few weeks ago and during other times they were in the same room together.

Like I said, it is going to be a slow journey storyline so keep your eyes and ears open so you won’t miss a thing.

Congratulations to Erin Torpey, ex-Jessica Buchanan (OLTL) for tying the knot with Hamilton von Watts. Erin and Hamilton got married on April 18th in a beach ceremony at Malibu California. They wedding was very intimate with only their family and closest friends among the attendees.

Erin Torpey was quoted in saying she married her bestfriend. Congratulations and Best Wishes to the newlyweds.

I agree with Rex yesterday (Thursday, 06-11) when he told Gigi to just say whatever it is she needs to say and finish this whole storyline. Well, he didn’t actually said “storyline”, but still, this stupid storyline needs to finish. I am getting tired of Rex’s stupidity, Stacey’s nonsense, and the over acting from Gigi. Although, she looked really great yesterday… LOL. I loved how her hair is styled with loose curls in a side sweep. And it’s darker as opposed to the picture below. She looked more feminine yesterday, but I digress, heh.

Shane knows the whole truth between what really happened, or should I say, what didn’t happen between his Mother and Brody. But Aunt Stacey is the one talking to him now, convincing him to let his parents find happiness with other people.

Guiding Light is about to end. If another network doesn’t pick it, that means there’s going to a lot of unemployed talented daytime actors. One of them is Gina Tognoni. She plays Dinah Marler in Guiding Light. She was a recast but she made that character her own that she won 2 consecutive Emmy’s for it.

Before she became Dinah Marler, she played Kelly Kramer in One Life To Live. So it would make sense if she comes back to her stomping grounds, right? I think it’s about time of the Kramer Women comes home especially now that Aunt Dorian is heartbroken due to Ray Montez going back to Columbia.

Soap Central reports that 3 soaps are fighting to get Gina Tognoni. The Young and the Restless, Bold and The Bold and the Beautiful, and One Life To Live. I love Gina Tognoni so I hope she picks OLTL. It would be nice to see her again with a son. Remember, Kelly left town with a new baby. This could open up for Kevin Buchanan to come back as well.

But first things first, Gina, please pick One Life To Live!!!

Before the whole baby switch happened, Starr (One Life To Live) made the decision to give her baby up for adoption. Because of what happened to Jessica, everyone thought Baby Hope died.

Now they are all in the middle of getting the baby back from a very obvious sick Jessica after her husband’s death. Well, she was sick before but having to deal with her husband’s death and then her baby being stillborn kinds elevated her sickness to another level.

Starr and Cole are about to have a second chance with their baby. Should Starr keep her promise to Marcy and give her Hope? How would Cole feel about it? They just got their daughter back whom they all thought was dead. Certainly there is some kind of divine intervention there telling them that they shouldn’t go through with adoption.

For Llanview’s Prom Night episode, Llanview High students were lucky to have Pussycat Dolls perform for them. The Pop Group gyrated and sang to their hit song “Jai Ho”. It was a fun episode. The kids had a good time. Especially Matthew Buchanan who got special treatment from Nicole.

Can I just say Nicole Scherzinger’s abs is SIC. Of course the girls were dressed provacatively as usual. Stripper Stacey should have been at the Prom. Maybe she could’ve learned how to shake her hips properly, heh.
