From the One Life To Live weekly spoilers that I posted this weekend, it said that Michael and Marcie are leaving Llanview with a good surprise. I threw out a guess intimating that maybe Marcie is pregnant.

How oh so typical but it’s good too. Marcie and Michael deserves to be happy after all their baby troubles in the past. Marcie found out she couldn’t have a baby. Then when she and Michael adopted a child it turned out to be Sam, Todd Manning’s child from crazy Maureen. The fact that Marcie gave Hope up with her real parents, Starr and Cole,  is an act to rewarded.

Miracles do happen. Especially in Soaps. Doctors told Marcie years ago that she could never ever ever have a bay of her own. But I guess they’re wrong. The McBaine’s are leaving Llanview on a positive note. Good for them. Maybe they’ll be back someday.

And I don’t mean that as BAD as in hot or great. Good Lord that was the worst stripping/dancing I’ve seen in my life. Stacey may look like a stripper but she needs a lot of stripping, poll dancing and just basic hip actions lessons before she pops out of a cake during a Bachelor Party again.

Stacey showed some major cleavage alright but she was as stiff like an electric post. No one beats Laura Wright’s stripper role on Guiding Light as Cassie. I think she’s probably the best daytime actress who actually pulled it off. Crystal Hunt was boring and like I said, stiff.

I mean basic dance moves would have been nice. Oh and by the way, what was with the almost kiss with Jared in the end. Did you notice how Jared actually pouted his lips to kiss Stacey? What The???

I’ll give major props to Lab Technician Kyle though. Now HE can move. He shook his hips and showed his flexible back bending moves. Stacey? Not so much. Not even a little.

On today’s episode, Shane’s bone marrow transplant showed some complications. And just about when Gigi was about to tell Rex the real deal with Stacey and how she ended up in Brody’s bed which supposedly saved Shane’s life. Evil sis Stacey was eavesdropping too.

So while the Doctors take care of Shane, Stacey dragged Gigi outside the room to have their little talk. Stacey asked what is going on. Gigi started narrating the situation and as soon as she reached how Shane started hurting in the stomach, I seriously wanted to shoot myself.

I could not believe my eyes. Gigi was pouting and whining like a little kid. She acted like she was about to throw a tantrum like a 3 yr old. It wasn’t something I expected from a Mother whose son is battling leukemia. Is this the best we are going to get out of Farrah Fath? No matter how hard the subject matter is for me personally, I was actually looking forward to it because I was hoping this could elevate Farrah’s acting chops.

I am really so disappointed with the outcome that I could literally cry while watching Farrah let this opportunity pass by. I am not crying inside because the story is heartbreaking. I am crying inside because the acting is THAT terrible.

Here the highlights from the April 6th episode of One Life To Live.

# Todd’s Frat brother Zach is in town to make Todd’s life and everyone in it a living hell. He went to prison while Todd is walking away free. Zach informs Todd and he owes him. He then asked if Todd is being suspected of all the stabbing in Llanview lately. Todd asked him if he’s got anything to do with it. Zach said he’s not a killer. He demanded money for his disappearance. Todd told him to go away, Zach said it is not over by a long shot. Oooohhhhh.

# Meanwhile, Starr acted like some ghost whore has taken over her body She tried so hard to seduce Teach Schuyler. It was sad and pathetic. Schuyler was yelling at her that  what she has in mind is just wrong in all levels. They almost got caught by Cole who showed up and demanded if he Teacher is sleeping with the student. Starr was hiding and listening to everything. When Cole left, she tried one more time to make Schuyler sleep with her. The smart Teach yelled at her saying he does not want her in any capacity. The poor girl. Starr is so messed up she wouldn’t recognize it if it smacked her in the head. But then again, her parents don’t see it either. To make matters worse, Cole saw her leaving Schuyler’s room.

# Surprise, surprise, Stacey and Roxy were able to convince the Doctor to switch DNA’s to save Shane. Anything for a good cause, I guess. Roxy needs to tell the truth and stop hiding for once in her life. If you think about it, Roxy’s actrons has inadvertently affected anyone around her. Time to grow up, don’t you think?

# Natalie visits Hope’s grave. Marcy showed up and they had a long talk about babies, Jessica, all that goo stuff. Marcy thinks Jessica lights up being with her 2 daughters. She’s hurting from Nash’s death but her kids are pulling her up. This made Natalie decide not to tell Jessica about Chloe and Hope switcharoo. Not yet anyway.

# Cole visited Hope’s grave. He said things would be so much different if she didn’t die. Maybe, Starr put her in adoption so I don’t know how things could’ve been better. Cole would be on the side watching his daughter raised by other people. Well, she’s “alive” I guess. Cole popped another pill.

Here are highlights from the March 24th, Tuesday episode of One Life To Live.

# Surprisingly, Gigi refused to take Stacey’s offer. Dump Rex for her bone marrow to save Shane. Stacey thinks she’s hotter and prettier than Gigi. Rex would sure prefer her over Gigi. WOW! Talked about a messed up girl. Gigi slapped her sister and said she’s not going to let her sister’s evil blood run through her son. She’ll find someone else. Stacey said it’s a big mistake because when Gigi finally comes to her sense, she might not be in town anymore and even if she begs, she won’t help her at all. I wish Gigi tells Rex what’s going on.

# Tea unloads on Viki. The always so-tough Attorney admits to Viki that she’s actually in love with Todd. How sick is that? Viki suggested that maybe Tea should tell Todd how she feels.

# Natalie found  out the truth about Jessica’s baby. Stupid preview showed that she’ll tell Jessica about it. ABC needs to fire whomever is doing their preview clips. They need to learn how to catch the audience by giving suspense, not the whole darn enchilada. Unless that was a dream sequence, we pretty much all know thanks to the stupid preview that Natalie won’t keep her mouth shut about the baby.

# Kamar de los Reyes exit revolves around Carlos Hesser. I guess he’ll leave town to investigate him further and finally nail him in his coffin or a permanent jail cell anyway. Talia told him to just let go. Carlos is dangerous. Antonio’s family will only get hurt if he takes on Carlos. Well, Kamar and BethAnn are both leaving so we can all assume that Talia is joining Antonio in this quest. I’m just glad Carlivati is not killing them off. Not yet anyway.

Here are the highlights from today’s episode (March 23rd, Monday) of One Life To Live.

# Tea visited Cole in jail and lets him know that his Mother just hired her to defend him. She believes he’s a good kid who made a mistake. If his Mother can get over the fact that she was Todd’s lawyer, he needs to get over it too. If she can keep Todd out of jail, she is very much capable of saving Cole’s behind.

# Speaking of Todd, his fight for the custody of his kids goes on. Dorian thought Tea was still Todd’s lawyer so she called her about the served papers. Todd was at Dorian’s house making troubles. Jack’s got too much Kramer and Manning running through his veins for his own good. He wants to live with his father but Starr doesn’t want to. Of all people, Ray Montez advised Dorian to use Tea to beat Todd this time around. Too bad Tea wasn’t answering her phone calls.

# Stacey lets Gigi know what she really wants in life. Rex, of course. Shane can have Aunt Stacey’s bone marrow if Mommy Gigi lets Rex go. It’s not really Stacey’s bone marrow. It’s Rex’s evil Father’s bone marrow which Stacey blackmailed Roxy for. I guess Rex’s Daddy is really evil that anyone would rather die that have his blood running through them. Dang.

# Marty is getting flashbacks from her old life. She’s not telling John yet though.

When Ron Carlivati took over in writing for One Life To Live I have to admit, I was very happy. Finally, One Life To Live will rise back up to it’s fabulousness like it was before. For a while there the Soap was at an impasse. I was getting bored with all the stupid storylines. But slowly but surely, Carlivati unleashed his dark, sick, disturbed yet brilliant  head on all of us.

First, Nash’s death. For storyline purposes, someone had to die. Who else to kill but the husband of Jessica Buchanan, father to 1 child and another one in the way which he found out about on his death bed. Nash and Jessica went through so much drama starting with Jessica’s inherited multiple personality disorder from her mother Viki Lord. Jessica used to be married to Antonio Vega. Jessica had to painfully admit after their honeymoon that she and her Tess alter integrated which is why she fell in love with Nash too. But of course they killed Nash off. Nothing is ever happily ever after in Soap Operas. That thing only happens in Angelina Jolie’s life (hehe). Jessica had to face losing her husband hours after she found out she was pregnant with their second child. Albeit I hated that Nash died I understood that that’s how life goes. And that’s how soaps story had to go. It created dramas and it certainly brought out a lot of that on the show and in Bree Williamson’s ability as an actress. She just earned a pre-nomination for the 36th Emmy’s.

One upon a time, when One Life To Live celebrated their 40th anniversary, Carlivati thought it would be fun to write a “journey to the past” storyline. Bo Buchanan, along with Rex, entered a time machine powered by air space, rain, thunderstorm, and electrocution into the 60’s era. Bo became Asa Buchanan and Rex Bulsom became Bo Buchanan.

While in that time confused alcohol induced decade, Bo as Asa slept with a woman who looks exactly like Gigi, Rex’s BabyMama. That Woman happens to be Spencer’s mother.

Asa was having an affair with her. But since Bo was Asa during that time, he must have slept with her even though he tried so hard to avoid it because of her resemblance to Gigi. Apparently, Bo as Asa was able to sleep with her after all. As it turns out, David Vickers is not Asa’s son. He is Bo Buchanan’s son.

Rex was Bo Buchanan during that time travel period. Rex as Bo slept with David Vickers’ Mom who looked like Gigi. I guess we could assume that Rex’s sperms were translated into Bo’s sperms, hence David Vickers as Bo’s son.

And that my friends is how I could intelligently explain how Bo Buchanan became David Vickers’ son. I could possibly be wrong and Carlivati has a better version to explain this whole DNA story. Frankly, I’d be interested to know because my version derived from the past storyline is hard to comprehend and it’s really giving me a major headache.

Here are the highlights from today’s episode, January 26th.

# Todd knew all along that Janet was wired. He ripped her shirt open and found the wires. Antonio and Talia ran as fast as they can to rescue Janet.

# Langston is acting like a flirt towards Mr. Schuyler.

# The Principal arrived in the middle of the class and let everybody know that dugs are being sold in school. Schuyler asked everyone to let him know if they know the dealers or who’s buying the drugs. The kids protested. They don’t want want to be rats.  Starr stayed and informed him of Cole’s problems.

# Cole found his locker opened. He suspected Matthew of stealing his drugs from his locker.

# Dorian offered Mo her money to prove to David that she has finally converted to Buddhism. David tole her she can’t give it to someone she know just to she could retrieve it all back when she changes her mind. So, she gave one of her most expensive necklaces to Noelle which she absolutely loves.

# Langston approached Cole and told him Starr informed her of his problems lately. Cole was pissed off at Starr for letting Langston know.

# Lola told Tea what happened when her Mother supposedly died. It seems she’s having mixed feelings on the real story. Then Tea got a call from Todd.

# Tea arrives at Todd’s house and threatened Antonio with. Police Brutality

How sick were you guys listening to Tea grill John McBain and Marty on the witness stand, respectively? She painted Todd like a hero. A vision of gallantry, out to save his damsel in distress.

Marty’s condition of not remembering anything was thrown out of the window. They can SORAS’s the heck out of babies, create different personalities for Viki and Jessica, come up with undecipherable diseases that could be cured by some obnoxious Doctor or worse by a root ala All My Children, but I guess Amnesia is a fake condition that Llanview doesn’t recognize. Talk about irony, heh.

Florencia Lozano is doing such a marvelous job. I wanted to reach into my monitor yesterday and punch the living life out of her..LOL. That’s how effective Florencia’s acting is. Todd became a puppet and Tea is having a fantastic time being his puppet master. I guess the insanity defense I thought would get Todd off is out the window. He’s going to be free thanks to the “butchered” investigation led by hot headed ex-Detective John McBain. He should’ve known this when dealing with Todd. Due to technicality, Todd is going to walk away free and unscathed, well except for the bruises and unreciprocated love for Marty. For now anyway.
