Starr and Cole (One Life To Live) are teen parents. Let’s not dismiss al their rich parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents that will be helping them along the way. I know it was a sweet and romantic way for Cole to show how much he loves the mother of his daughter by asking to marry her before he serves 2 years in jail but is it a smart thing to do?

They are both so young for this another step in their lives. But then again, they already have a child, with like a said, a rich, and huge support system so why not get married, right?

Marty made sense when she talked to Cole today. Starr is 17, she’ll change while Cole is in jail. As he will himself. Starr will go to college, meet new circle of friends, and experience life in the process. I don’t think we have any choice though. Carlivatti has written a teen marriage storyling judging from the short promo they’ve shown unless it’s just a tease and something happens in the end.

What do you think? Is it a good idea for Cole and Starr to get married? With the rate these two are going, they’ll surpass the divorce and child-birth rates in Llanview by the time they’re 40, heh.

Here’s Kristen Alderson and Brandon Buddy(Starr and Cole, OLTL) on The View this morning. They talked about their controversial teen pregnancy storyline. I thought Kristen and Buddy were great. They were very articulate about how the storyline affects the fans, families everywhere and themselves personally. If you missed it, here it is, it’s really good :). After 171 votes, you all opined that Starr should have her baby to have a Teenage Mother storyline on One Life To Live. I agree. And I think with Cole and Starr running away, that’s the  direction OLTL is going. Thus far anyway. They could still pull a Jessica-miscarriage on us in a few months. I hope not, but you never know. Here’s the complete breakdown :

• Yes, OLTL needs a teen mother storyline = 111

It seems like she did, didn’t it? But I’m hoping not. The majority of who voted in our poll wants Starr to keep the baby and have OLTL write a teen Mother storyline. I really hope that’s the direction they’re going. Just think of the future of Llanview. We need a new generation that actually came from characters what we watched grow up on the show. Know what I mean?
