Soaps In Depth magazine gathered some of the General Hospital Stars and their well wishes for Natalia Livinggston whose last scene as Emily Quartermaine was a few weeks ago. Just in case anyone missed last year’s November Sweeps, Emily was killed by a Text Message Killer during The Bacchanalia hosted by Nikolas Cassadine. Around Thanksgiving or so. Soaps On ABC had loads of screenshots from the Ball to Emily’s death but they’ve been deleted from the server for legal purposes so there’s really no point of linking you all to those posts. Sorry . Anyhooo, Emily didn’t really leave Port Charles. She started making her presence as a ghost, albeit only Nikolas could see her. Soaps On ABC waves goodbye to Emily Quartermaine. We will miss the most-loved character in Port Charles(GH). Of course we will miss Natalia Livingston even more. She took over a character from a very talented and much-loved actress, Amber Tamblyn, and made the character her own. Natalia has an Emmy to prove it. She brought growth, maturity and grace to the young and spunky character Emily used to be. We love you Natalia and we’ll miss you something terrible.

Emily Quartermaine’s(Natalia Livingston) ghost will be biding us and Nikolas adieu this coming May. Natalia opted to leave and pursue other things. But headwriter Robert Guza Jr. teases long-time fans of Natalia that just because she’s leaving that doesn’t mean Natalia won’t come back sometime in the future. The door is always open.

Since Guza said “Natalia” not “Emily” does this mean then that Emily might have some twin out there? Remember, Emily was orphaned and adopted by Monica when her mother died of breast cancer.

I think an evil-twin of Emily would be awesome. A new dimension to Natalia’s acting skills. So don’t be sad people. We wish Natalia the best but whenever she’s ready to come back, we’ll welcome her and her possibleevil twin character

After weeks of disbelief, anger and tears, and 531 votes later, it seems we’re all pissed that TPTB killed off Emily Quartermaine. Most of us would have been happy for a recast in order to continue the romance between Emily and Nikolas. Not to mention she’s part of the core family in Port Charles and one of the few outstanding characters in General Hospital.

Even though she’s all dead and gone, maybe somehow they’ll fidn a way to resurrect her by putting Helena into the mix. Since she never showed up at the funeral. Surprisingly. I’ll print the accompanying post with all you comments on it and the result of this poll and mail it to ABC headquarters. Let’s hope they’ll open and read it. But eh, at least we tried, right?

From the new issue of Soaps In Depth magazine, Natalia Livingston states her reasons, vaguely I might add, for leaving General Hospital. Apparently, She and TPTB had been discussing hew future with the Soaps for months now. Natasha said she would love to pursue other options in her career. Mainly, PRIMETIME. You know what, I do understand that. She’s a very talented actress and a sweet person to boot. I don’t have a problem with her leaving the show to further her career. Vanessa Marcil and Josh Duhamel did it. Amber Tamblyn who she replaced for the Emily Quartermaine character is also doing marvelous in Hollywood. Amber left a big shoes for Natalia to fill but she did it successfully. She won an Emmy for it. So I’m not bitter at all that Natalia felt she had to go. What I’m mad about is the fact that GH decided to kill the Emily character off altogether. As I and everybody else has pointed out, they could’ve brought a recast. It’s a HUGE shoes to fill but I’d rather have a recast than kill someone who is such an integral part of the Port Charles canvas. Especially with Emily’s love affair with Nikolas. Their love is timeless.

Now I finally get how the wardrobe and make up department work in Port Charles. It kinda makes sense how each items are distributed among the lead characters but I do feel sorry for Emily because she gets nothing. Not even a good storyline. Not anymore anyway. She’s not even getting laid with Nikolas lately. Natalia Livingston must have pissed them off when she won the Emmy’s a couple of years ago but her ex-boyfriend Tyler Christopher didn’t. HAH!

Amelia gets all the eye liner she could possibly apply on her eyelids channeling Marilyn Manson.

While Carly gets no bra most of the time, she does get an ample amount of bronzer. And flat- iron treatments.

Of course it has been well-established that Elizabeth “wannabe Mrs. Morgan” Spencer gets all the cute clothes, lip gloss, and lip venoms. Anything to make her lips pout for Jason at a moment’s notice, she gets it.
