Forbes March, ex-Nash Brennan on One Life To Live and ex-Scott Chandler on All MY Children is going back to daytime. This time around, it’s with another network. Let’s just say, he jumped ship, hehe. Forbes will be sharing his acting chops over at CBS’s As The World’s Turn.

Forbes’s character’s name is Mason, a college professor, and gay. Mason is going to be part of Luke and Noah’s storyline.

Here’s what Forbes March had to say about his new character on ATWT :

“I am interested in characters who will demand I look at the world through someone else’s eyes and fight for their point of view; so a gay character was interesting to me. I am not phobic of really anything and I certainly am not homophobic. From a Christian point of view, God is love and if you don’t love your fellow man, then you don’t love God. I do not find hate or intolerance, self-righteousness or a lack of humility or compassion to be consistent with my understanding of our philosophy. From a secular point of view, gimme a break! To be homophobic should be as embarrassing as any other ignorant and hateful fear and I hope we are close to that time. I am an actor and I tell stories and love is love.” (SOURCE)

Wow. I might check out ATWT once Forbes start in summer. I’m a huge fan of him and this new characters sounds really interesting and I’m very confident that he’ll be able to pull it off. His first appearance as Mason is on July 14th, CBS, As The World Turns.

Ok, I planned to start the Soaps On ABC Performer of The Week feature where I highlight actors who did splendidly during the week from the 3 ABC Soaps on Friday but I can’t take it anymore. I am bawling here like a baby. Bree Williamson is OFF THE HOOK! While Jessica begs for the high power not to take her husband’s life, my tear ducts flowed extensively. Jessica is yelling, she’s begging, on her knees, inside the hospital’s chapel, that it was her that was supposed to die. He gave her so many miracle, please don’t take them away now. Bree is too little to understand. How is she going to explain to their little girl that Daddy is never coming back. She’s pregnant with their second child too. She was going to tell him tonight.

It’s not officially confirmed yet, but Forbes March(Nash) has been fired. His last air date is supposedly at the end of this month. WTH?? No recast is expected. His exit is rumored to pave way for a huge storyline for Jessica. OLTL likes to just fire people huh? Remember what they did to Dan Gauthier(Kevin) 2 years ago? And what about the shocking firing of Christina Chambers(Marty)?

Oh well, if this is true I hope Forbes finds another job soon. I actually like him. He’s an amazing actor. Not to mention a hunk to boot :).
