Remember the Babe who was slick, smart, and can smile a scam and bullshit a mile a minute? Remember that Babe? Her name used to be Alexa Havins. I liked that Babe. I miss that Babe.

Amanda Baker’s Babe started out bad, real bad. People wanted her head on the pink slip, pretty much. She has transitioned well in the last few months. She’s not as annoying anymore. Until yesterday. The old Babe would’ve recognized a bullshit right away when Annie showed her “bruised” arms. Isn’t she the same gullible woman who was whining how she felt so stupid for believing everything that Richie told her. While everyone  else told her Richie is bad, she championed for him. She defended him to everyone. She felt like an idiot once her eyes finally opened. Oh I don’t know, like stealing JR’s bone marrow should do it. And being kidnapped.

But here’s that stupid and gullible version of Babe again. She was so quick to jump on Annie’s side. “You can stay at the Mansion for as long as you like”. Pffft. She can’t smell the same Richie and Annie scams. Her nose must be plugged with Bella (the perfume she and Amanda created). Hah. But to Babe’s credit, Greenlee was kinda thinking the worse of  Ryan too. You can’t blame her. Ryan does have history.

But c’mon, anyone with a brain could see how Annie is such a nutcase. Or is it just us, Greenlee sometimes and Kendall? Forget Babe coz the old one took her brain (and the clothes, seems like it, heh) with her when she left Pine Valley.

Amanda Baker (Babe Chandler, AMC) attended Samsung’s 7th Annual Four Seasons Of Hope Gala last Monday. She came with a special “guest”. Can’t figure out who but they do look chummy :).

Samsung’s Four Season Of Hope is a charity organizations which raises awareness and money to help various charities through other retailers such us Best Buy, Comp USA, Sears, Circuit City, and Staples. This year the event raised $1.1 million.

No offense to Amanda Baker but dang that is one of the worse recast on Soaps. I know it’s too early to judge and all but dang, from what I’ve seen so far, I’m not impressed. See, Babe is, for the lack of a better word, a slut. She slept with her brother-in-law the first day she showed up in Pine Valley. That’s why even though she’s changed over the years, well I don’t know if sleeping with Josh while once again married to JR is considered a change but somehow she has a heart. But still, Alexa Havins version of Babe has that presence on camera. Even if Babe doesn’t have a line, you know she’s in the room. She lights it up.

Today’s episode with her in it was so boring. Even the concern she’s trying to show over Wes/Richie didn’t seem genuine. Babe has a knack for feeling compassion on losers or outcasts. Not this new Babe. I just didn’t get that fire in her. It was blah. And I think Bobbie Eakes felt it too. I dunno. If this is what I’m getting from Amanda Baker this early on, I hope she improves or she might meet her demise from Wes’s hands faster than she can say, “trailer”. Hah!
