General Hospital: Another BabyDaddy Storyline For Elizabeth
The minute the writers introduced this Lucky-Liz-Nikolas triangle storyline, we saw the next twist crystal clear. Another BabyDaddy storyline for Elizabeth. I voiced or shall I say typed out my intuition on the November 9th to 13th 2009 Spoilers. It doesn’t take a genius to come up with this conclusion coz no matter how redundant for TPTB to go there, this time around is more serious or volatile, so to speak.
This BabyDaddy storyline now involves 2 brothers who happened to have such an interesting history. I do have to point out though that maybe GH were just weighing …read more
General Hospital: Hand Jonathan Jackson His Emmy Award
January 25, 2010 by Dexie
I mean seriously, if you watched General Hospital last Friday, you’d agree with me that Jonathan Jackson is most probably going to get an Emmy nomination, and would likely get the ward. I was sad that Greg Vaughan left but with how the storyline has progressed into this Lucky/Liz/Nikolas triangle, I now understand why TPTB decided to bring JJ back.
Last Friday was brilliant. I had goose bumps watching Luke and Lucky interact like that. Anthony Geary’s sigh after every revelation from Lucky was like a cherry on top after every breath blown. When Luke said, “you trashed that house …read more
General Hospital Stars’ New Year’s Resolution
A few of the General Hospital stars shared their New Year’s Resolution to Soaps In Depth, on the December 28 issue. Let me share them with you.
Julie Marie Berman (Lulu) – She wants to get singing lessons. Well, let’s hope she could carry a tune, no? Hehe.
Ronnie Marmo (Ronnie) – Stay in the present and always be grateful in the moment. Awww. That’s pretty deep, no?
Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) – She would like to be a strict vegetarian again, work out more and stop eating donuts in the green room. If they’re Krispy Kreme I think it’s ok to …read more
Jonathan Jackson Speaks Out About His GH Return
November 30, 2009 by Dexie
Understandably, many reacted not so positively about the firing of Greg Vaughan on General Hospital as Lucky Spencer to make room for Jonathan Jackson’s return. The latter was the original actor who played the character. I was in the middle about the whole thing.
I love Greg Vaughan and I think he did a great job portraying the role. But I also know what a wonderful actor Jonathan Jackson is it was kind of a bitter sweet situation. I was sad that Greg left but I was curious as to how Jonathan will portray the famous role he left behind. …read more
So, How Did Mr. James Franco Do?
November 20, 2009 by Dexie
Personally, I think he did freaking AMAZING. Oh My Gosh. I thought Guza would have written his introductory episode as a 10 second moment in the end while Jason, Sonny and Dominic left the shooting scene. Guza was smart enough to put Franco at about 3:19pm. And he had more that 3 sequences I think. Did I say he was hot? Some of my fellow ABC Soaps twitter friends said that right about the time Franco is on TV, Guza was probably going through all sorts of the big “O”. If you know what I mean…
Franco’s wave to Jason after …read more
General Hospital’s James Franco Promo
November 19, 2009 by Dexie
Don’t forget, tomorrow, November 20th, is James Franco’s 1st airtime on Port Charles. Here’s a preview just to whet your appetite some more.
James will be playing a character named Franco. How farfetched… hahaha. He is an artist who is fond of dead bodies. I guess he finds them interesting. Knowing our daytime, James won’t appear until the very end. When he waves at Jason as a homeless guy amidst a shooting that Jason is going to be involved in. Jason won’t put 2 and 2 together until a week after, most probably. In any case. I am sooooooooooo excited. …read more
Laura Wright Signed For A Multi-Year Contract
This is good news before we all head out for the weekend. Laura Wright (Carly, General Hospital) just signed a multi-year contract to stay in Port Charles. Woooohoooo! This month is Carly’s 4th year anniversary with GH since joining as a recast in 2005.
Laura’s new contract makes her the longest portrayer of the show surpassing Sarah Joy Brown’s (ex-Carly, Claudia Z) 5-yr tenure. I am so happy about this. Laura Wright is Carly. She took on the role that was brilliantly portrayed by Sarah, then Tamara Braun, and temporarily by Jennifer Bransford, then made it her own.
Now it’s …read more
What If Greg Vaughan Moves To Pine Valley?
November 9, 2009 by Dexie
Greg Vaughan is now free to look for a job since Jonathan Jackson came back to General Hospital to reprise the role of Lucky Spencer. Greg is a wonderful actor so I’m confident we’ll see him soon. Perhaps in Pine Valley?
Soaps In Depth (November 16th issue) had a nice conversation with him about the possibility of bringing back a character in Pine Valley. Let’s send it some fillers to All My Children. I think Greg Vaughan will be an awesome recast for Jamie Martin. I know it’s another recast but who cares. Greg has another baby on the way, …read more
Natalia Livingston Is Leaving General Hospital
November 1, 2009 by Dexie
For the second time around, Natalia Livingstong is leaving General Hospital. This time, as Rebecca Shaw. The first time she was killed off as Emily Quartermaine.
She was brought back in as Rebecca Shaw who turned out to be Emily’s long-lost twin. It was a good concept at first. But as the story progressed, the writers didn’t know how to write the character into the canvas. They screwed up big time. Like I said, the concept was ideal but they ran out of ideas what to do next once it was revealed that Rebacca is Emily’s twin.
They focused too much …read more
