One Life To Live Recap, November 16th, Monday
Jared is dead. Irony of all irony, Natalie is a widow just like Jessica. Viki’s twins are really that connected I guess. To tell you the truth though, I wasn’t at all affected by Natalie’s pain. Even when Natalie was telling a lifeless Jared about the children they were going to have. Not even when Natalie was being held by Clint or when her head was resting on Jessica’s lap. I’m not cruel. I just didn’t buy the acting coz trust me, I’m the first person to bawl my eyes out when it comes to scenes like these. Melissa Archer didn’t cut it for me.
Bree Williamsom was so much better when Nash died. I felt every pain that Jessica felt that day. Maybe because Jessica has Bree and was pregnant with another one? Perhaps but still, I though Bree’s acting was so much better. Anyhoooo, Charlie in turn was in pain for losing his son. While he may be grieving, he also had revenge on his mind. He promised Jared that Mitch Laurence will pay.
Speaking of Mitch, he was with John who kept telling him he’ll rot in jail, whatever. Mitch told John that all charges won’t stick. John happened to be Natalie’s ex-boyfriend. He’ll be a hostile witness if Mitch ever has a trial. John tried to finish him off but Brody stopped him and said it was too easy. Mitch thanked Brody and said that hopefully he’ll let Jessica and Bree spend time with him sometime. Talk about crazy.
In Seattle, Matthew’s surgeon informed Bo and Nora that the surgery wasn’t successful. He told them that they’ll have to tell Matthew he will never walk again. Bo got mad and pushed the surgeon into the wall. He accused him of giving Matthew false hopes. Just when Bo was about to pound on the surgeon, Greg and Rachel showed up. The surgeon explained to Greg what happened. Greg asked Nora and Bo’s permissions to check on Matthew and scrub in. After a few hours, Greg told them good news. He was able to fix whatever the first surgeon couldn’t. Greg and Rachel convinced Bo and Nora to go to a nearby hotel to rest. The parents were hesitant with good reasons. Hotel, them, unrequited love, and all that sparks.
Viki is Llanview’s Mayor. Dorian lost by one vote. Dorian is not determined to find who that flip-flop voter is. It’s Markko I guess. Frankly, this voting thing is so silly. It’s Markko’s right to vote for whomever he wanted to vote. Obviously he voted right coz he knew darn well that Dorian was only using Gay Rights to win the Mayoral seat. Dorian was never genuine in his new-found sexuality and support. I’m glad he voted for Viki. But of course to Langston, who used to be a free-thinker radical young woman, that would be a betrayal. Sorry, but I’m not buying it.

ITA about not feeling Natalie’s grief, although I don’t really like her or Jared they had major chemistry and I thought it would be heartbreaking to watch. It really wasn’t. When Nash died Jessica ripped my heart out, maybe Natalie is too used to it after thinking John and Cristian had died. It hasn’t sunk in for her yet so once it does maybe the acting will be better.
Kacey, there’s a John and Natalie confrontation so maybe we’ll see her emotion there.
I didn’t feel affected by Melissa Archer’s acting either. She’s not a good actress like Bree Willamson is. I can’t wait til Jessica finds out that Rex and her are related.
Im glad that Matthew is finally going to be walking again, because i’m so tired of this I wanna get my surgery but my parent’s keep doing things so i cant have the surgery storyline. Boring.
I’m annoyed that Langston was trying to force Markko to vote for Dorian. She didn’t deserve to win and i’m glad that she didn’t. Markko has the right to vote for whoever he wants. It’s ridiculous to try and choose who he votes for. She’s controlling.
Natalie is not believable because she not that broken up.Shes probably been sitting around trying to figure out a way to get rid of Jared so she can get back in John’s pants. Lo and Behold as soon as she gets a chance she goes running over to John’s.
