All My Children Recap, October 26th, Monday : Adam-Annie-Scott-Ryan-Erica-Zach-Kendall

It was a day of “it’s not your fault, blame Annie for everything” at Ryan’s house. Thanks to Erica Kane. When Ryan asked how Erica survived her parent’s divorce, Erica said her Mother helped her a lot. And kids are resilient so Emma would be fine. However, Annie was the baddie since Ryan did everything to work things out with her. So really, it’s Annie’s fault. Wow, imagine that. Ryan worked tings out with Annie? How? Wasn’t he getting it on with Greenlee on the side when all that drama was going on? I’m actually surprised Erica didn’t bring Greenlee as part of the problem too. I guess coz she’s “dead” so no point bashing the dead person too, right?

Annie was able to sneak into Emma’s room to try to convince her not to tell anyone about Adam’s secret. Emma was relentless. She doesn’t Adam as her stepfather. Annie even bribed her a pony. Ryan walked in and before Emma could spill the beans, Annie informed them that her wedding to Adam is called off. And that’s why she was there. She wanted Emma to know first. Erica and Ryan got curious but Annie wouldn’t tell them anything else. When she left, Ryan realized that Emma is blackmailing her Mother not to marry Adam. Yes Ryan, aren’t you so proud of your daughter? This realization prompted Erica and Ryan to get Zack to work on Adam as soon as possible.

Zach is determined to get the truth out of Adam so he started interrogating him. Adam started having flashes thanks to the drug that Zach slipped on his drink. Scott saved the day. Although he was in his breaking point as well. He aimed a gun at Zach just as he was leaving. Before he accidentally reveals the truth on the shooting, Annie stepped in. Annie took charge and ordered Zach to leave. Always the arrogant Zach that he is, he didn’t waver even after Annie fired 3 shots. Zach even mocked her for not always missing a shot. The mansions security arrived and after being told the shots were an accident, the guards escorted Zach out.

Annie then asked Adam to go upstairs and rest. Scott started questioning her on why she had to shoot the gun. Well, Annie said, it was a way to him up that’s for sure. Annie is also worried about Emma’s blackmail. She thinks everyone has pressured Emma too much. Scott realizes how much Emma is acting like her mother. Wow, you think? They both worry that nothing is going to stop Adam from remembering everything. And they’re afraid that it would Adam once he finally knows the truth which should be sooner now.

While Adam slept, Annie talked to him and told him how much she really loves him. Annie looked and sounded sincere. She told him that she really wants to be Adam’s wife but she can’t marry him. Not yet anyway.  She’s hoping he’ll understand one day. She loves him too much to do anything that could hurt him in any way. REALLY???

Meanwhile, Aidan found a way for Kendall and Zach to communicate. He stole a laptop for Kendall, with an unsecured fast connection nearby apparently, Aiden informed Kendall she’d be able to send Zach a message through a poetry site. Awwwww.

Back in Pine Valley, after Zach informed Ryan and Erica that his mission failed, he got a phone call from Jesse telling him to meet him at his house. Once Zach got there, Jesse informed him of a strange message he got from Aidan. And there it started a poetry encoded messages between Zach and Kendall. How romantic.
