Rebecca Budig Is Back In All My Children

It is official. Rebecca Budig aka Greenlee Smythe is coming back to All My Children. SoapNet.com confirmed it last week.
Once the news broke out that the All My Children production is moving to Los Angeles by early 2010, one thing subject that came to mind among the insiders is the possible comeback of Rebecca Budig to reprise Greenlee Smythe once again. She left AMC because she hade a hard time being away from her husband who was based in LA while she was working in NY. The last time she was on the show she supposedly died but no one actually saw her body except for Ryan and Kendall identifying a corpse without seeing who was under the white blanket. All they saw was Greenlee’s engagement ring and that was enough for them.
David Hayward sent a Nurse to care for “someone” which was a sign that David is involved with Greenlee’s “I’m not dead” comeback storyline.
It’s not known yet when will Greenlee first appear on All My Children but I’m guessing just after Aidan Devane is taken out of the show coz he is one of the few people who knows whether Greenlee is dead or alive. He actually looked at the body. With Aiden Turner leaving the show I’m assuming, hoping that they’ll insert the Greenlee Smythe story in there.
What would Greenlee’s comeback do to the Ryan and Erica relationship? Frankly, I hope Greenlee finds a new man. I was a RyLee fan but after Ryan got involved with Erica I lost total respect for both Ryan and Erica characters, heh. It will sure make 2010 very interesting.

As soon as I find out who killed STUART (and it better not be EMMA) I am done with ALL MY CHILDREN. The rest of the storylines are bad … erica & Ryan … Annie & Adam & Scott … Jake & Amanda & David … Puleeze!!!

Im with Terie,as soon as I find out who killed Stuart Im done with All my Children. I have watched from the first day it can on the air. The last 6 months have been the worst story lines. The move to Calif. and losing so many key actors is not helping at all. What are they thinking?????????

when is the David ,Jake, and Amanda story going to end. It is so unbelievable that any of this would really happen.You are making Amanda so stupid and Jake and Amanda deserve to be together and when is Jake going to find out he’s Trevor dad.
I really enjoyed Greenlee and am so happy she is coming back. With all the problems with Jake, Amanda, David, and all the mess with Erica and Ryan, maybe she can improve the show with some new ideas! Welcome bac, Greenlee!
