Contract Updates : October 2008

Soaps On ABC reported Alicia Minshew’s (Kendall, AMC) contract negotiations back in August. While Alicia is rumored to be taking some honeymoon off after tying the knot with Richie Herschenfen this month, her alter-ego Kendall Hart Slater is not going anywhere. Alicia renewed her contract and she’s staying in Pine Valley.
That’s good news. Even if Kendall can be meddlesome (can be? LOL), I’m looking forward to how she’s going to bring Adam Chandler down for going after her company.
Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing, GH) has also renewed his contract. After Rick got back from his much-needed vacation, he and ABC got down to business and negotiated a new deal.
With the burgeoning closeness between Ric and Claudia, I’m glad Rick is staying so we’ll actually see it happen before our eyes.
We don’t want to see another case of Ric & Skye or Ric and Marianna interrupted hook-ups.
