Which Pine Valley Residents Do You Want To Return?

Just for fun, and maybe wishful thinking, which Pine Valley (All My Children)residents would you want back? I’ve chosen alive Pine Valley residents who either moved to another town or vanished out of thin air without any explanation. Pick as many characters as you want and feel free to share your reasons why you want them back.

Hayley and Mateo (Kelly Ripa and Marc Consuelos. The storyline was, Hayley’s talk show was picked up by a network based in California. This coincided with Kelly Ripa’s job as Regis Philbin’s co-host when Kathie Lee Gifford left the talk show. Mateo couldn’t possible stay in Pine Valley so of course Mark Consules decided to leave the show as well.

Brooke English (Julia Barr). She left without even saying goodbye to anyone. Not evne her son Jamie. Behind the scenes, it’s all about not renewing contracts. From ABC’s part. *Tsk Tsk*

More Pine Valley characters after the fold….

Maria Santos (Eva La Rue). She left then came back as Maureen. Then when Edmund died, Maria decided to move to California where the Santos family has mighrated. With Hayley and Mateo. Eva La Rue is now a regular at CSI Miami.

Jamie Martin (Justin Bruening). Supposedly, Jamie followed Uncle Jeff in Africa for some charity work. The truth is, Justin Bruening has been doing well in his Hollywood career. His stint as the new Knight Rider on NBC was well-recieved that he’ll be reprising his role as David Hassellhoff aka The Knight Rider as the Hoff’s son and new Knight Rider.

Bianca Montgomery (Eden Riegel). Bianca heads the Cambias Enterprises based in Paris. She comes back  to PV once in a while.

Liza Colby (Marcy Walker). Liza left town with Colby. Except Colby has been living in PV and busy with her own curricular activities, drunk or otherwise. It just makes sense that her Mom should come back too. It was rumored that Beth Ehlers (Lt. Taylor Thompson) was going to reprise that role as a recast but Marcy supposedly has shown interest in coming back which is why AMC created a new character for Ehlers when she joined the cast. 

I doubt Hayley and Mateo (Kelly Ripa & Marc Consuelos) would come back anytime soon but it would be nice, no? Would you consider recasts just to the sotry continues? Or is it better off that they left and if the characters come back, it should be the actors above?
