I actually just wanted a solo picture of Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, AMC) during the 35th Daytime Emmy’s but I couldn’t find one that I could use legally so I’ll settle for this one :). Not everyone liked Rebecca Budig’s red pleated strapless frock with pink stitching accessorized with a huge pink rose brogue in a sash belt. I do. I thought it was fun, and trendy like Rebecca Herbst’s strapless bubble dress. The huge pink rose fits Rebecca’s playful approach in fashion. What I really like about this dress besides the pink stitching and pleating, is the fact that Rebecca played around with combining red with pink. You don’t see that often. Red is usually always mixed with either white or black. Pink with black on the other hand is the classic color combo in fashion. So I give her props for actually going for it. I saw her gold stilettos from the SoapNet’s shoecam and it’s sexy as hell.

Speaking of color combos, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake, AMC) nixed the traditional all-black suit or tuxedo and decided to wear a white blazer over white button shirt, bow-tie and black pants. I’m not much sold on the look coz I think it’s all over the place but hey, that’s Ricky. He’s got such a rebel in him. Everyone wore traditional suits/tuxedos, respectively. Ricky went for ALL of them..LOL. That’s our Ricky!!! :)

Almost looks like a take on late 50’s early 60s prom wear…..Guess I’ve been watching Hairspray too much! :)

  2. Haley says:

I just love her dress. She’s so fashion forward :)

  3. Kasey says:

I love Ricky’s look. It reminds me of Casablanca, and he wears it well! Rebecca looks fabulous as well. I’d love to see these two paired together on AMC, they make a striking couple.

  4. Harry says:

Rebecca Budig was the best dressed at the emmy’s that night.

  5. Stacey says:

Rebecca looked absolutely stunning on Emmy night–THUMBS UP! Such a beautiful dress. I just love Rebecca’s style–she gets it right every time. And might I add–Ricky looked very handsome.

  6. Lina says:

She looked amazing! It took a while to get used to the dress, but she really pulled it off.

  7. anna says:

Rebecca looked bad IMO. Her hair looked like a birds nest and the dress looked horrible with that unfaltering pink flower on the front. Rebecca needs to either hire a stylist or fire her current stylist and hire a new one. That dress and hair style certainly did her no favors.

  8. Samantha says:

Rebecca looked adorable. The flower accented her to-die-for teeny weeny waist!! She and RPG are on fire together and I am DESPERATE for a Jake- Greenlee romance redo!!!

  9. Loralynn says:

Rebecca looked gorgeous, as always! Ricky looked sharp too.

  10. Cyber says:

I don’t dislike the dress I just think it suits “her” but I’m not over the top about it.

What I liked about her hosting is when she caught Anthony Sabbato on the runway and she kept saying “you’re so handsome”

He was so great he just smiled and said “Thank you” and she goes again “you’re so handsome” and he goes thank you and she does it again..

She was just so cute doing that
Thanks Rebecca I think I would do the same thing.

What a great guy he is handsome and humble.
