General Hospital : June 16 | Alexis Doesn’t Wanna Lay On Her Own Bed

Yah know the expression, “you made your bed, lay on it“? Alexis has never heard of it apparently. She’s asking, begging with matching tears, Carly to once again ask Sonny to give up custody of Kristina. Carly told her over and over and over again that she did but Sonny wouldn’t budge. Then Alexis has the audacity to guilt trip Carly. If something happens to Kristina, according to Alexis’  world, it’s Carly’s fault for not being able to convince Sonny. Isn’t that just mind boggling.

Remember when Carly kept Alexis’ secret? Sonny divorced her, like that. To Sonny, that was betrayal. Carly knew Kristina is Sonny’s daughter but for some selfish reason and because of Alexis’ pleas, Carly shut her mouth. Once Sonny found out, that’s when the divorce that was the final nail in Sonny and Carly’s marriage happened.

For Alexis to guilt trip Carly was blasphemous. I loved what Carly said though. She’s honest and responsible for her own actions. It was her decision to get together with Sonny and now her children are paying for it. She’s having a hard time navigating her way out of it as smart as she could. Alexis knew Sonny’s world, she slept with him, now it’s it’s her responsibility to navigate her own way out of it. Don’t put it all on Carly. Of course always the self-righteous Alexis thinks it’s all about Carly. Some people just don’t get it. Carly is Carly but she’s right on the money on this one.
