AMC Performer Of The Week : June 2- 6 | Michael E. Knight
Michael E. Knight’s portrayal of Tad Martin this week was subtle yet brilliant. How he laid there calmly and forgiving towards Adam Chandler was beyond me. He realized 2 things. 1, Adam Chandler hates his guts. 2, His wife still loves Adam Chandler.
He and Adam have always disliked each other but Tad didn’t know how deep Adam feels about him. Hate is such a strong word. But this week he learned more that he really wanted to but probably needed. With all things done and said, Tad still managed to forgive Adam. In his heart he believes that maybe something is good in Adam’s heart for him to finally tell the truth.
And now his wife. I think Tad knew all along that Krystal will always have something with Adam. People would be stupid to ignore it. But Tad, being the good and common sense guy that he is, he’s hoping that Krystal would see the light. Adam Chandler is bad news. Tad realized though that Krystal does love Adam, unconditionally. It doesn’t matter how many times Krystal denies it or make a list of justifiable reasons she should hate Adam, Tad knows his wife will never get over Adam. Michael E. Knight was able to get that out of him lying in bed no less.
