America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 Runner Up Yaya Dacosta is AMC’s Cassandra Foster

Yaya Dacosta, the brainy America’s Next Top Model runner up from Cycle 3 has been cast as Cassandra Foster. The adopted daughter of Dr. Angie Hubbard. Her first air date will be on April 25th. Wow. I’m impressed. She was a little bitchy on ANTM. The smart one who knows she can model better than anyone in her sleep…LOL. She’s done good. She did Take The Lead movie with Antonio Banderas. Cassandra is going to have major problems with Jesse and moving away from her friends so this character fits Yaya to a T..LOL.
I haven’t seen a full episode of AMC in more than 10 years, but now I suddenly want to see every one.
Absolutely gorgeous, but yeah I can easily envision her having an attitude.
I just watched her on All My Children. I don’t think they were saying her character on the show will be a bitchy character. She is playing the role of Cassandra who is actually this sweet young girl who just returned from being away in boarding school in Europe. There will be some conflict with her and her mom’s husband so maybe that sweet innoccent character may change. I think they may have her play a character similiar to like Colby Chandler played when she first came on the show you know one of those girls who are really a good girl but will be doing things that are in bad judgment just to get attention. On top model I watched the entire season of cycle 3 and I never saw yaya as bitchy. She was just not silly and immature like the other girls on the show and she stayed out of their silly catty fights and always stayed more to herself always reading books or studying (Not sure what she was always studying because she had already graduated from a prestigious college with honors).
So of course America’s Next Top Model characterized her as being uppity and the one who always thought she was better than the others by the way they edited her. But I thought she was actually one of the most together on the show that season.
