One Life To Live Casting Rumors : The Buchanan Boys Take #????

You guys have noticed how the Buchanan clan has been slowly getting back the forefront of One Life To Live right? It’s about time. With this new storyline, tongues are wagging, Could Kevin and Joey be walking into the BE’s lounge anytime soon? Oh Please, Please, make it happen.

The Buchanan Boys, young generation, need to come back soon. Now here’s the tricky part, instead of hiring the last ones who played them, we might be seeing new faces. Whuuuuttt?? Again? How many times have these characters have had face makeovers? I can understand that Nathan Fillion(ex-Joey) is now doing a marvelous job being one of the guys at Desperate Housewives and busy doing movies so TPTB might have a hard time getting him back. Just don’t get the other recast, errr, the guy from PASSION? That was the worst recast ever.

Anyhooo, rumor is that Brandon Beemer(ex-Shawn Brady, DOOL) could be our new Joey. They wanted Bryan Dattilo(Lucas, DOOL) but since he’s still under contract with Days Of Our Lives, Brandon Beemer is the next choice. I like BB. I think he brought maturity to the Shawn Brady character on DOOL. But I’m not sure if he’s mature enough to play Joey. I just can’t imagine him years and years ago when Joey was Dorian’s boy toy. Know what I mean? But then again, the other Joey recast was a harder image to stomach. So whatever. I hope they get Dan Gauthier(Kevin) back though. Stop hiring recasts and just bring the old ones back, if possible. With Kevin maybe possibly coming back, is Kelly Kramer and her son coming back too? I hope so. We might see a different face though coz Heather Tom is sticking around in The Bold and The Beautiful and I don’t think Gina Tognoni will be leaving Guding Light anytime soon. Oh well :(
