So in Elizabeth Webber Lansing Spencer’s perfect world, “People don’t change”. With that assessment from Little Ms. Perfect, I guess the following people in Port Charles will never change :
Lucky will always be a pill popping druggie.
Nikolas will always be a lying cheating bastard.
Luke will always be a rapist.
Lulu will always be the girl who stole Georgie’s boyfriend, slept with him, got pregnant, had an abortion.
Jason will always a mob-killer. Well, he will always be anyway.
Cameron, her son, will always be the kid who almost burned their house down with Jake in it.
Ric will always be her psychotic ex-husband.
Mike will always be a compulsive gambler.
Sonny will always be bipolar.
Skye will always be an alcoholic.
Courtney will always be AJ’s stripper who stole Jason from her, then stole Nikolas away from Emily.
Sam, who is a good person, made the worst mistake in her life and would take it all back if possible.
All the Port Charles residents who has done stupid mistakes in their lives who has tried to change and learn from their mistakes and are naturally good people will never change in Elizabeth’s book.
So by that claim, Elizabeth will always sleep with someone else when her husband(s) disappoints her, have an accidental pregnancy, lie about the Daddy for months and would keep lying about it until really pushed. She’ll always be the woman who got pregnant with Zander’s baby, and tried to convince her now-ex-hubby Ric to buy Zander off after she tried to pass the baby off as Ric’s. Hmmmm, something sounds familiar. Elizabeth never stood behind anyone to offer full support. She’s always thought about herself disguising it as “for Cameron’s sake” or “My boys’ sake”.
Yes, according to the town saint Elizabeth Webber Lansing Spencer, “people don’t change”. Damn, it must be nice to live in her perfect world.

Wow, I am so glad that I am not the only person who dislikes Elizabeth. She is So self-rightous, that she is the one person Carly comes down on and I root for Carly… and I otherwise always think badly of Carly!
She has an excuse for everything she does, and never forgives anyone. And she has cost Sam so much, that I am very disappointed to be reading in the spoilers that it’s Monica who hit Sam. I would much have preferred it be Elizabeth.
And I would like to have seen her lawyer try to accuse Sam of stealing Jason’s folder from the Police Department, and the 20 or so other things Elizebeth has done and gotten Sam blamed for in defending her. I would love a scene in which the Town Saint sits there self-rightously as Sam is condemed for the things Elizabeth did… and she and Jason go skipping off together, not a care in the world… until both are killed by TMK.
But they’d never do that.
I want to see Sam rescue a few more people, including Jason and Elizabeth a couple of more times just because it’s the right thing to do, and also be the one to save Kate Howard from the person she is running from. I want Sam to get a good relationship with her mom… and also make friends with Kate. I think the two of them could do something good with Sam’s show. That’s an entire area of this show that has yet to be exploited. Sam’s show to show how Trevor drugged and faked Kate’s second arrest. There’s a lot there.
