All My Children : Rebecca Budig Comeback Video Promo

ABC and Brian Frons really went all out for Rebecca Budig’s comeback, tagged as “The REAL Greenlee Returns”. I love Rebecca’s Greenlee. As much as I love Sabine Singh and her own interpretation of the character Greens is Rebecca. Greenlee has spunk and is a feisty naughty minx. Sabine’s Greenlee has more heart and everything but Rebecca’s Greenlee is a combination of everything. Having said that, when I saw the video I was like, “damn, they really went all out“. I don’t ever remember a daytime character being given such emphasis when the original actor comes back to to claim a character. Brian must really love Rebecca Budig. Hey, he’s the boss, it’s his money so I guess he can do whatever he wants…

This video shows the true nature of Greenlee. I kinda miss that.

    I really love Rebecca! It hasn’t been the same! I thought that Sabine Singh did a good effort on Greenlee but It was hard to really get into the character. I can’t wait. I hope that Sabine Singh goes somewhere where she can start over with a new character.

    I am just amazed over this one. I missed Rebecca…but then after a few weeks of Sabine she really became Greenlee…They both play her just great. I am sad to see Sabine go. She is doing a fantastic job. I am excited to see Rebecca come back because I always liked her. Why not do what GH is doing and have Budig come back as another character? Or yeah…her long lost twin sister…I mean that is AMC’s MO…everyone has a twin! Just wow…. I wish Sabine the best and think she did an awesome job portraying Greenlee. Rebecca welcome back.

    Mandy, yeah, it’s hard taking over a very famous character. Sabine is an awesome actress. I hope she finds something that she could call her own.

    Taramartyn, Hard to pull off but we soap fans will take everything in stride so anything would work..:)

    Ugh removing this site from my bookmarks. The ads are insensitive and I can’t believe anyone endorses them by recycling them. Sabine is playing Greenlee right now, she’s as real as Rebecca, and I’m tired of TPTB trying to tell ME what’s real and what isn’t.

    I so miss THAT Greenlee. After this week, I just see how SS’s version is short term at best. Why not just let RB come back originally short term, if THIS is what they were going to do? Stupid fools. Oh well, she’s back in 9 days baby!!!

    I always loved RB as Greenlee. I loved her comedic representation of the character and how she could tell someone off and in the same sentence make me laugh about what she’s saying. She always had those witty comebacks. I think SS is a good actress but I just cant get into her portrayal of Greenlee. I wish her all the best but all in all im glad to see RB coming back.
