Sarah Brown Might Be Returning To General Hospital
Rumors has it that Sarah Brown, the old Carly Corinthos is coming back to Port Charles. BUT, not as Carly. Another character. Hmm. That would be kinda weird eh? I hope the rumors are true that she won’t be playing Carly. No offense to Sarah Brown and her fans but I hated her portrayal of Carly. I love Laura Wright as Carly Corinthos Alcazar Jax. There should be 2 more Corinthos on that last name but I don’t know where to fit it..LOL. I’m muddled with the time period right now. But anyway, Steve Burton said he’s heard some rumors as well but even though he was vague about it, he did say that if she comes back it wouldn’t be ass Carly. Maybe as Carly’s sister? To be honest, I really couldn’t care less if she comes back or not. I hope not, but if she does, as long as she’s not Carly, I’d live with it. I’m sure either Sonny or Jason will be involved with her character somehow. Coz you know, those 2 always get the women of Port Charles. Sonny first, then Jason. And down the road, Alcazar and Jax is the last on the line because Ric will somehow find himself in between any of those guys. LOL.

Sarah Brown is a fin e actress. But no Carly has been as good as Laura Wright. Laura Wright has taken Carly to whole another level entirely. Tamara Braun (who had her fans) couldn’t hold a candle to her. And as good as Sarah Brown is, she’s not even as good as LW. So, SB would be welcome in anything else that makes sense. But Carly belongs to LW now. Because it IS her.

I agree completely. Laura Wright made the character her won. She IS Carly Corinthos.

I think GH has been lucky to have almost all (poor Jennifer Bransford) the actresses succeed. Each brought something different to the character, without the foundation laid by Sarah and continued on via Tamara - Laura’s Carly wouldn’t be the woman she is today. Carly’s evolved more than physically, she has redeemed herself repeatedly only to go back to her impetuous lifestyle.
My favorite storyline has to be why she came to GH to begin with, just crazy. While I love her with Jacks (both Brenda and Courtney’s seconds, lol), she and Alcazar was exciting to watch!

I think Tamara tried and I actually liked Jennifer but not as much as Laura :).
Can you imagine Sarah’s Carly with Jax. I just can’t..lol. The Carly today would look good with anybody. Interesting..:)

I like Laura Wright as Carly, as I like her as Cassie, and I don’t think it would be beneficial to the show to change actresses again, so I’m glad Sarah will be a different character. But Tamara Braun was and will always be my favorite Carly. I took a long time to be won over by her portrayal because I could see no one else but Sarah Brown in the role, but she finally made the part her own and I miss her. Sarah coming on as a new character may take a little getting used to, but she is a good enough actress to pull it off and engage the audience in the new character. It could be interesting.

Laura is a awesome Carly. The other one’s didn’t even look right for the part. I had a hard time even seeing them with Sonny. Laura brings a little class to the character. I have been watching her since she was on Loving. When I found out she was going to be Carly I thought it’s about time they get someone good. Tamara needed to seriously gain some weight, she was better than Sarah though, who I always thought was way too tom boyish for the character. Laura is a lady. I love the chemistry between her and Sonny the best also but she is awesome being married to Jax. And I LOVE Kate with Sonny. GH rocks!!!!!

I am from the older generation and I think Laura is very much the best Carly. I remember Bobbie and Luke when they were young and Sarah Brown’s Carly just did not seem right for Bobbies daughter. Sarah Brown’s Carly just does not fit into that family. Of all the ladies in Sonnys life, I LOVE Kate with Sonny.

Connie, it’s Courtney Matthews. Alicia somebody is her portrayer. The last time I saw her, she was an extra in Nicolas’s Cage National Treasure 2 movie. Just a small scene at the beginning. Before that she did a few episodes on Showtime’s L Word
