General Hospital : Lucky Is Alive, and Devastated
Finally, Lucky shows up, alive and well. Not having any knowledge about Emily’s death until Luke tells hims. Not knowing he didn’t know. I’m so glad that TPTB had this day for Lucky. He and Emily have a lot of history. Even though the storyline is getting a little twisted and confusing right now on who really killed Emily, Lucky was and has always been Emily’s rock. Way before she met Nikolas and Elizabeth. Remember when Emily and Lucky –Amber and Jonathan Era– would run away because their parents were, still are, total sh!ts? After a few words from their parents once found they were always back to being mischievous. I love those days. Emily and Lucky were together like peanut and butter and jelly sandwich. Memories huh?
Luke was understandably distraught for his son but Lucky decided to leave the hospital to think by himself and not get Luke any sicker.
I loved his fighting words against Elizabeth. Oh you’re glad to see me? Whatever. Emily is dead. If I wasn’t too busy wallowing in my misery for finding out that Jake is not my son and that “My wife is a lying whore” maybe I could’ve saved Emily. Elizabeth was like, “Emily loved you, she loved me, she wouldn’t want us fighting like this”. Lucky, as the elevator opened, “Now she’s gone”.
At the dock, Lucky tells Sam that Emily knew in her heart that he will always save her. Before Nikolas met her, she had Lucky. Even though I’m pissed off at TPTB right now, I’m thankful that they wrote this moment for Lucky. His pain regarding her death is also carrying the guilt over not being there to save her. Because of the whole Jake paternity secret, somehow, the history of Emily and Lucky’s friendship is tainted. That’s what I’m trying to take from that statement anyway. I hope it’s not “tainted” because Lucky had something to do with her death. I doubt it though. I don’t think Lucky would ever hurt Emily. God I hope not. Nah, just let it be Zaccarah and let Jason kill him justifiably and get it over with this storyline.
