General Hospital, October 23, Tuesday Recaps/Thoughts/Predictions
- Sam is back. Lucky visits with flowers. They have sex in her couch. Sam tells him to call her whenever, wherever. Lucky gets paged. Sonny’s warehouse is on fire.
- Kate and Sonny were talking about something. I can’t remember because I wasn’t paying attention. I think it’s about Sonny’s desire to make a lot of money and to wear suits, while Kate talks about his dimples. I was enthralled with what was going on in the other side of Port Charles. Nope it’s not Lulu getting swept away with Logan’s noble pleas about how bad he is for her. Or the fact that Johnny is finally in the same room with his father. Although I’m quite interested on how Anthony’s wife died coz he told Johnny that he wished it was himself who died instead of his wife. He seems to really love Johnny’s mother. Hmmmm…
- Anyway, I was very intrigued with what was going on between Carly and Jason
- See, I was never a Carly fan. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t stand watching GH for years because of the past Carly actors. No offense to Sarah Brown and Tamara but they didn’t do it for me. I hated Carly with a passion. Until both of those actresses left. I actually liked Jennifer somebody. I can’t remember her last name. And then one day, switching channel, I see Laura Wright on that train wreck and the voice saying “Carly is now being portrayed by Laura Wright”. I was sooooooooo excited. I love Laura as Cassie in Guiding Light. I stopped watching that show because of Reba Shayne’s never-ending immaturity. So to see Laura Wright in GH was a blessing in disguise. Anyway….. finally, Carly Corinthos is going to make sense. And since that first scene, I’ve tolerated Carly’s hypocrisy, selfishness, self-righeteousness, bralessness and annoyingness because of Laura Wright.
- Yesterday’s episode sealed the deal for me, once again. Carly is now questioning the day she decided to choose this life for her and her children. Her children are paying for it. Jason argues that hopefully they won’t be like Johnny, trying to get away from the obsessive love of Sonny. That they won’t have to pay for Sonny’s crimes. Carly says otherwise. They’ve paid big time. They’ve been kidnapped and their lives are always going to be in danger. Bodyguards, and moving everywhere just to be safe. Now Carly is thinking. AMAZING.
- Also, did you notice the connection between her and Jason? They’re best friends. Jason will never let anything happen to her and the boys. Carly feels the need to protect him from Robin and Liz. As irritating as Carly is, Jason loves her. I have a feeling that Carly and Jason will hook up someday, if not soon. Jason is the man Carly will leave Jax for. In a heartbeat. Sonny maybe her soul mate, but Jason is her half. Like literally, half of her body. With the indication of Sonny’s life being in danger, Ric taunting Jason as being the puppet, I can see Jason leading the Mob with Carly by his side.
- Just my predictions or a good twist in my opinion.
